Our search facility is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it.
You can only use the search facility when you are on the directory itself, not when you are reading any of the articles in the main menu.
You can search by “Keyword” by typing in a town name or any other keyword… You do not need to click enter as the search is automated as soon as you finish typing.
You can use the “All Locations” drop down menu to select a town. You do not need to click enter as the search is automated as soon as you have made your selection.
You can use the “All Categories” drop down menu to select from the categories on offer. You do not need to click enter as the search is automated as soon as you have made your selection.
The search results for your chosen search will be displayed below the search bar.
If you choose a county / region you will be show a list of towns that are the closest to you at the time of the search if you have geo-location set on your device or browser .
To read the full listing for an individual search you can click on the title of the listings in the results.
The map may show only one location or multiple locations depending on your search type.
The map itself can be dragged around the screen for better positioning.
Map icons can be clicked on to provide you with additional information and a direct link to the search listing.
You can also zoom in and out of the map using the + / – buttons on the left and drag the little “Yellow Man Icon” onto the map for a street view, which in and of itself allows you to more around the area.
In some cases the map view may default to an actual street view of the business listing selected. If that is the case you can return to the normal map view by clicking the little “x” button in the top right hand corner of the map.
